About Lanka Reisen

Born and raised in the beautiful city of Kandy, Sri Lanka, Dulip has spent the last 18 years building an international career in the IT industry across Dubai, France, Spain, and finally Berlin, where he is currently based. Living and working in different cultures has given him a deep understanding of what international travellers truly value, authentic experiences, trust, comfort, and meaningful connections.

Despite his global journey, Sri Lanka has always remained close to his heart. Together with his lifelong friend Rukshan Perera, Dulip founded Lanka Reisen with a vision to introduce German travellers to the true spirit of Sri Lanka beyond ordinary tourism. His international experience combined with his Sri Lankan roots helps create travel experiences that are both professionally organised and deeply personal.

Rukshan Perera, based in Colombo and also originally from Kandy, has dedicated over 15 years to the tourism industry in Sri Lanka. With extensive local expertise and a passion for hospitality, he has guided travellers from around the world through the island's rich cultural heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and hidden gems.

Growing up in the heart of Sri Lanka gave Rukshan a genuine connection to the country's traditions, people, and natural beauty. His mission is to ensure every guest experiences the warmth, friendliness, and unforgettable hospitality that Sri Lanka is famous for.
